O2 Arena Hotel

There are many ways of getting to the O2 Arena from Talbot Street.  Our city centre location off O’Connell Street means the Abbey St Luas stop is literally 2 minutes walk around the corner and thanks to the extension the tram will take you straight to the Point Depot in less than 10 minutes.  Your ticket is valid for 90 minutes from time of issue so you can get off and drop in to one of the bars in the IFSC along the way for a quick drink – the Harbourmaster at Custom House Quay always has a good atmosphere and some outdoor seating.

On event evenings the O2 organise shuttle buses.  The closest stop to us picks up on Amiens Street outside Connolly Station and it’s just a couple of minutes walk at the end of Talbot Street.  The service runs every 20 minutes and costs €5 return, journey time varies with the traffic but it usually only takes about 10 minutes to get there.

Walking to the O2 along the Quays can be lovely on a nice evening.  The redevelopment work over the last few years is more or less complete and there are lots of great places to stop along the way.  To avoid the rush we recommend going for an early meal or drink, please take a look at our Restaurants near the O2 Dublin blog post for tips on the best places to visit.  The O2 Point is about 2km from the hotel, and if you don’t stop along the way should take less than half an hour to walk there.

Our O2 Arena Map will help you find your way and any pub, restaurant or other facility you might need in the vicinity.
